It was the most difficult decision I ever had to make when considering moving my husband to Blue Haven. He had a hard time adjusting to his new surroundings and was quite a challenge for the staff at the beginning. I know they had their hands full, that's for sure. As time went on, I can see he's turned a corner and is doing so much better. For that I want to give special thanks to ALL the staff for taking care of my husband's personal needs, being attentive, and the patience they're shown him. I no longer feel the guilt I experienced when first making the decision that I was unable to care for him myself. Blue Haven has been a Godsend to say the least. The minute I walked in and met with their kind, loving Administrator, Catherine Rivera, (a Saint in my humble opinion) and toured the extremely clean, warm and cozy facility, I made up my mind that Blue Haven is where I want my sweet husband to be. The staff is exceptional and treats everyone living there with empathy and kindness. It's such a hard job but they meet the challenges every day with smiles and personal attention. If you should find yourself in the same situation of not being able to care for your loved one alone, I pray you will consider this smaller, homey care center over the huge, fancy ones where your loved one wouldn't get nearly the attention and care Blue Haven provides. May God Bless the staff and the wonderful people they selflessly care for. Barbara J.

My Mom is in Blue Haven Memory care and I am pleased with the care she is receiving. All her care givers are very pleasant and seem to take Moms personal needs into consideration. They have been prompt in letting me know of any situation that Mom is dealing with and are eager to involve me in a solution to make her more comfortable. I would recommend Blue Haven to anyone searching for a “Home” for a loved one in need.

Having to put my brother in Memory Care was a difficult but necessary decision. I toured other facilities and have 40 years of medical background, Blue Haven was a blessing to find. My brother couldn’t be in better hands. The staff are kind, well trained, and attentive. The place is designed to be a home for the residents, they are cared for as individual people all with different needs, not like sheep being heard around. Families and friends are welcome to visit, the residents are happy and treated with respect and dignity. They staff go above and beyond to make living at Blue Haven their home..
