I cannot express enough gratitude for Jennie and the entire staff at Blue Ridge Senior Living of Richmond. Jennie helped us through a complicated admission situation on nights, weekends, and holidays and I am so grateful that this facility was recommended to us by other caregivers in the area. Their entire staff was caring and attentive, even though my father in law was difficult to deal with. They never showed the slightest annoyance or burden and always went above and beyond to let us know what was going on with him. We always found the facility to be clean and the food to be well prepared. Thank you to all of you for what you did to serve our entire family when we needed you most. You are all amazing!

My sister went there for a two week "respite" so I could visit family out of state, when I went to pick her up, she cried she loved it there so much, We decided to make it her permanent home. The staff is AMAZING, they go above and beyond for each and everyone of their residents. The rooms are clean, the food is great and it feels like home.

Mom moved to Blue Ridge September 2025. She passed January 2026. During her time there the staff was very caring and compassionate. I could tell they genuinely cared for her. I am so thankful we moved her from a more expensive but less caring facility.

Exceptional, Competent, and Truly Compassionate Care My 93-year-old father was a resident at Blue Ridge Senior Living for 13 months, and I cannot adequately express my gratitude for the incredible, truly caring staff. My dad was very hard of hearing and had poor eyesight, which could have easily left him feeling isolated. But the team at Blue Ridge was incredibly patient, always taking the extra time to communicate clearly and make him feel secure. They truly got to know him as a person, and because of their efforts, he felt safe and genuinely trusted them. This high level of care extended to his medical needs. Over the course of his stay, my dad required hospitalization four separate times. The staff handled it perfectly every time. Their clinical assessment was accurate, and they made the right call. Most impressively, each time he went to the ER, he arrived with a complete packet of information—insurance details and a current medication list—which made the hospital admission process infinitely smoother for our family. This culture of putting the resident first continued throughout his entire stay. As my father approached the end of his life, it was the Site Director who proactively and compassionately recommended hospice care. She didn't just suggest it; she actively helped us get him enrolled. This was yet another example of their great judgment and their deep commitment to ensuring his comfort and dignity above all else. Knowing he was in the hands of a team that was this competent, this professional, and this kind gave us priceless peace of mind. I highly recommend Blue Ridge Senior Living.
