Came in close to a year ago to get a ssn card for my child. I never received the card. I call Social Security and this office never submitted the paperwork, so now have to start the process all over again.

After receiving mail today I discovered Mr. McGhee at Social Security administration has not resolved my issue luckily I went back to the social security office this Monday to straighten out all errors further being made purposely on Mr. McGhee behalf. I never had an issue with my sons monthly payments it was us not receiving his back payment checks and I have proof he disregarded my problems and played me. He told me on a recorded line he rerouted back payment checks to my direct express card which I didn’t want him too I was expecting him to send a returned paper check that I received in the mail back to the department of treasury to be deposited into my special dedicated account. Which never happened in November instead he tried to reroute Decembers monthly payment. On a recorded line he asked me if I taken the money off the direct express card(Monthly) I said I did. So why would he misinterpret my words and reroute the money back on the direct express card. I need help I keep requesting information to report this situation to the over heads, or anybody in authority over social security administration in highland park but I’m getting no where. Somebody please investigate these issues I can’t be the only one.

I guess they’re in the field of lying when you call to speak with them even tho I was assured I won’t have any issues getting my payment this month surprise surprise no money will be deposited this month good to know this government loves lying and making people homeless but have the nerve to say every American has more money in pockets now ha! What a joke

There is no option to make an appointment online, and when you call the wait time to speak to an agent is over 2 hours. I went in person, with two young children, to try and get some help because I wasn’t able to get anywhere online or on the phone. THEY TOLD ME THEY COULDNT HELP ME WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT. THE PLACE WAS EMPTY! Shameful. They turned me away at 9:30 am on a Wednesday.

This place is terrible. The employees clearly have no interest in doing their jobs. I had to wait almost an hour while the woman at counter number 7 chatted with a colleague—despite the fact that I was the only one in line. Completely unprofessional. Avoid this place at all costs.
