A gem of a community nestled in the beautiful north woods of New Hampshire. Quintessential New England at its finest. This is where Louisa May Alcott and Henry David Thoreau would have retired, given the chance. Robed in its thick Autumn brocade, you can almost hear the fife and drums in the distance. Gorgeous community staffed by beautiful, caring souls.

Very comfortable facility. I have lived here for 9 months and have had a good experience. Rooms are bright and newly finished. I enjoy walking around the facility and getting together with other members for dinners or parties. Enlarged menu for food so they offer several options. Staff is very caring and very social. I would recommend Bowman to anyone considering moving into an assisted living facility.

Having lived in Bedford all my life, I am so impressed to see so many local Bedford professionals on Bowman's non-profit Board of Trustees. If they're guiding the ship, residents are in great hands!

Bowman Place has been a godsend. My parents moved in this May 2021. Their apartment is beautiful. Everything is brand new. The care they receive is beyond what we expected. The staff is so caring, they listen to any concerns and follow through. My parents LOVE the food. Which is a big win , my dad has high standards. They are treated with respect and a very caring hand. They are socializing every day and have made a great group of friends. Residents can be involved as little or as much as they'd like. My sisters and I are so so happy and so grateful for Bowman Place. Our parents are loved, safe and well-fed. We highly recommend Bowman Place to anyone looking for Assisted Living.

I was paying $ 8,400.00/month at another Assisted Living and Bedford Place opened in April and since it is non profit was $ $5995.00/mo for memory care. The place is brand new, it sparkles, they take excellent care of my wife. Have many activities. You can not go wrong in placing a loved one in Bowman Place
