Brandon Oaks

Horrible place for loved ones. Brandon Oaks allowed place to deteriorate to the point that they tore the place apart to fix it. Main facility is an absolute mess. Hard to get around for everyone. As a result of construction, meal areas have been moved and food is prepared and served in unsanitary conditions. The therapy area in the main building is no longer easily accessible and does not have adequate facilities. Dust and filth everywhere. Staff mostly sits on their phones around nurses stations or at the end of corridors out of sight of residents. In addition, our loved ones had both money and food taken by staff at Brandon Oaks, and we had to get law enforcement involved. Potential residents really need to pay attention at Brandon Oaks. Life Plan members pay a huge up front fee and receive tons of promises of professional care. However, residents end up getting shuttled between facilities (independent care to assisted living to long term care) at the whim of the staff for bed management and revenue purposes but without concern for residents or families. For example, Brandon Oaks is trying to get loved one to move to long term care a week before Christmas to fill a bed in long term care and open one a room in assisted living. Brandon Oaks takes your money, then your dignity, and then your freedom. Very poor customer service, too. Leadership and care teams bully family members into compliance with room moves. Fully expect a combative and dismissive response.

Fantastic Community!

We are very happy to have moved here. Our apartment is fantastic and everyone we have met are friendly. We are enjoying the activities and trips, and the meals are delicious. Greg & Barbara Babiak
