Rent is assisted through HUD. Also can get assistance with utilities if you qualify. Apartment sizes are small but comfortable. I can’t say this is a great place to live. Management is constantly telling residents they don’t care. This shows!! Maintenance says they don’t care. Both tell us that if you don’t like it move!! We have a resident council that does things for them self and only a few residents, not really for all of the Oaks Residents. Not a good council. Runs to management to get Oaks’s residents in trouble over stupid stuff. Property neglected. Apartments not properly maintained. Cracks in ceiling, air ducts not cleaned. Black dust like pepper, comes out of them. Liners have to be taken out of vents do to deteriorating and not replaced.
