Brennity at Daphne AL, The

I was mistreated by a member of their staff, a Rebecca C. Her treatment of me was rude, dishonest, unprofessional and demeaning. I called The Brennity twice, two days in a row, and left two messages, once with Shannon, and a second time with Michele. I gave my number, and I asked them for the Director, Scott, to please call me back. I wanted to explain to him what happened and to make sure he knew how a member of his staff was treating members of the public (makes you wonder how they treat their residents). Several days have passed. No call from Scott. I am not calling a third time and begging Scott to speak to me. For a place who's entire business model is based around caring for people? This is unacceptable. If they don't care how their staff treats members of the public? If they are willing to employ people who lack common decency and respect for others? And if they don't care enough to return a phone call? Then you should really think twice before considering this Assisted Living Facility for yourself or a loved one.

Update... The team at The Brennity has been doing a wonderful job taking care of my dad since he moved in late August. The staff is attentive, kind, and genuinely cares about the residents. Communication has been solid, and our family has real peace of mind knowing he’s in good hands. We’re very grateful for the care and professionalism of the entire team. From Jan Weiss’s compassionate guidance to the executive team — Rackell (RaeRae) Hooks, Wanda Johnson, and Scott Kolzow — who made my father’s move smooth, every step was handled with care. The med-tech team, including Amber, Mya, and Sonjay, are extraordinary, Michelle in concierge makes everyone feel welcome, and Brandon and the maintenance team are always prompt. My father is well cared for, and we couldn’t be more grateful. I give The Brennity my highest recommendation for assisted living.

We have a loved one in Memory Care at The Brennity in Daphne. We have been so pleased with the staff, the activities and the personal care our loved one receives on a daily basis. Memory loss is so hard to deal with, but The Brennity has proven to be the saving grace for our loved one.

We moved my mother in on Sunday and so far we have been very impressed. The staff is top notch, so caring, and genuinely try to connect with the residents. Jan and Scott were both a pleasure to work with. This is not an easy decision having to place a loved one somewhere, but The Brennity has made it much easier than it would have been otherwise.

My mother and I visited The Brennity this past week and loved the property. Jan was extremely helpful in identifying my mother's needs and extremely kind and funny. I got to meet many of the residents who lived there and found them to be happy, engaging, and really fun to be around. We haven't made the final decision about my mother's care, but when we do it will be The Brennity.
