I have been amazed at how flexible, responsive, competent, caring, and cheerful staff at Emerald has been since my first meeting with Admissions Director Paula Rogers earlier this year. Paula patiently worked with me until we found the right path to getting my loved one into a supported environment. The day program is full of activities she loves. She went in just a couple of weeks from not wanting to do anything except stay home to eagerly awaiting the shuttle so she has time to ride with friends before starting the day program. The residence program, with 24 hour staff for no more than 5 residents, seems very good as well, director Julie Drayton has been quick to address any questions that have arisen. The facility has been beautifully renovated, with wrap-around windows affording great views of Anchorage. And the location is very convenient for visits from friends.

So far, I’m very happy with Emerald for day care for my loved one while I am working. The staff is very patient, accepting and compassionate. I know he is taken care of and I don’t have to worry anymore about his safety while I’m working.

My husband was the first to occupy the Emerald. Rooms are comfortable & roomy. Can’t beat the view, surrounded by windows. Own private bath. The staff is very professional & attentive. Wonderful meals provided daily. Multiple activity’s. There’s adult day care upstairs that provides an assortment of activities, also daily outings in their vans. I don’t have to worry about him, knowing he is well taken care of & if there is a problem/concern, they don’t hesitate to contact you. In return they are always available for any of your questions/ concerns. I definitely recommend the emerald for anyone looking for a facility for their loved ones.

The Emerald itself is stunning—clean, elegant, and welcoming—perfect for creating a memorable experience for our team. One of the highlights was the optional post-event clean-up service they offered for a reasonable fee. This thoughtful add-on allowed us to fully enjoy the event without worrying about the logistics afterward. The Emerald exceeded our expectations in every way, and we are so grateful for their flexibility and support on such short notice.
