Staff are ignorant! They walk around with attitudes, don’t fill water in oxygen tank, don’t give my mom her meds on time and she is in chronic pain due to a cancerous tumor on her lungs, they don’t clean her room properly. There is no HIPPA Privacy, she fell out of bed they threw her back in it when she tried to get up from being thrown down so hard they pushed her back down. I asked the one nurse why she had to have an attitude she got all bent of shape then would not give my mom her meds again. DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONE HERE!!!

Absolute worst place ever . My mother was there for rehab. She fell twice and had 2 UTI's in 2 months. FOOD disgusting. She went downhill so fast after being there. Every time I called to speak to Kevin, the first words out of his mouth were she has this many days left that medicare will pay for. They threw away her teeth , because she took them out to eat and left them on the tray. Apparently takes to long to check a tray . Would not let my worst enemy stay here

If i could give -0 stars i would. From day 1 the staff with held life saving medicine from my loved one including their insulin (they are type 1 diabetic). They would leave my loved one in their own urine soaked brief for hours before aggressively changing them while complaining about it. Majority of the staff (minus a handful that actually cared about the people there) didn't have a care in the world for the well being of their patients. The Director Kristen and Social Worker Kevin made the decision to call the police and have myself and my family banned from the facility for giving my loved one insulin that they desperately needed after alerting the staff several times of their condition. The Charge nurse Marybeth was horrible and encouraged her nurses to treat my loved one like trash. Physical therapy was at 5am with the patients just sitting in their wheelchairs lined up along the walls on both sides in the rehab room. Food was disgusting and small portion sizes. Several times i had to stay the night with my loved one just so the night staff would stop giving my loved one medicine that wasn't even theirs, instead of the medication that was meant for them. If my loved one tried to stand up on their own the staff would berate them and force them back into their chair or bed. I wouldn't trust the staff with my goldfish let alone another loved one. DO NOT send your loved one here unless you genuinely don't care about their safety/well being.

Had wife in briarfield manor for after care. CAUTION!! Had to replace her clothes twice to the sum of $272.00. Kevin (employee) left my wife 40.00 and had her sign a receipt .(note) she is blind and could have signed a blank check. They must think we buy our clothes at garage sales! Only name brand clothes disappear. Had to have them replace help pull string at toilet as it was broken. Toilet was loose and was tilting when used. Wife is disabled and 100% totally blind. I tried calling several times and no answer and decided to go see for myself how understaffed they might be to only find knowbody at nurses station, hallways, patients room, no I did not find anyone accept for employees sleeping in break room and gym. All while wife was left in wheelchair away from her phone and call button. How was she supposed to get help if needed. Totally unacceptable !!!!

Before you read these reviews, keep in mind that the state regulates all skilled nursing facilities. They can’t have too many CNAs/LPNs/RNs on staff at any given time, and the same for being understaffed. A lot of the facilities are given low budgets because the state looks at it as “we don’t have to pay for these elderly, they’re dying.” With that being said, I work at a nursing facility, and I was content with my mom being here. It is dated, and it doesn’t necessarily look amazing. Their supplied for my moms breathing treatments were limited… But where this place shined was the care. The nurses and CNAs do an amazing job for the situation they’re put in. Really amazing. Ryan and Gerald, two of the best CNAs I’ve seen. My mom was super complimentary to them as well. Amazing job. Be easy on these workers, they deal with a lot.
