BRIDGEPORT SENIOR LIVING - PORT MARGATE LLC

Our mother/mother-in-law has been living at Bridgeport for almost two years. We are very happy with the care she receives and how comfortable, safe and loved she feels here. When her dementia was too much for us to handle by ourselves, we began looking for options. The first time my husband and his mother looked at the house she was pleased and comfortable with moving there. The director, Ashley is attentive, quickly communicating any concerns but also sharing fun pictures and happy moments. The staff are friendly and caring to the extent that my mother-in-law has formed friendships with them. They are also medically well trained, especially regarding memory care. The house feels like a home, not a facility. The residents eat together, share weekly activities of crafts, puzzles, music, etc. We are blessed and thankful for Bridgeport and especially for the director, Ashley.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Bridgeport Senior Living. I first learned about them from a dear friend who had entrusted her mother’s care to Bridgeport, and I am forever grateful for that recommendation. Several years ago, my mom required emergency medical procedures that led her to rehab. With her dementia, she struggled to participate in therapy and quickly became bedridden. During the height of COVID, when I couldn’t even visit or help, I felt like I was losing her a little more each day. Bridgeport truly became an answer to my prayers. They welcomed her with open arms, cared for her like family, and gave her the dignity and love she deserved. With their patient, compassionate care, Mom regained her ability to walk and enjoyed several more years of life surrounded by people who genuinely cared for her. After her passing, my dad, who had been living in assisted living, began to decline as his dementia progressed. Once again, I prayed for the chance to place him in such capable and loving hands. That prayer was answered when an opening became available at Bridgeport. Soon it will be two years that Dad has been living there, and I couldn’t be more thankful. He is happy, safe, and at peace. Even though he doesn’t speak English, the staff go above and beyond to understand his needs and make him feel loved. He is such a sweet man, and it warms my heart to see how much the staff care for him and how much he cares for them in return. I will always be grateful for the way they have cared for both of my parents.

We recently transported a resident from Bridgeport Senior Living to a movie outing, and their staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. They made the process smooth and ensured the resident’s comfort. It was a pleasure working with such a caring team!

We feel so lucky to have found a loving place for our mother at Bridgeport. All of the staff are caring, competent and concerned about her well-being. The warm, home-like environment is very comforting to her and she adjusted very quickly. She is happy and extremely well taken care of by the direct care staff, the physician and the administration. One of the best experiences is the frequent communication and availability of the staff for any of our questions.
