Brightview South River

So warm and inviting and every employee is so personable and friendly. I feel so relieved to know my aunt is in such good care.

Our family loves visiting our parents at least once a week at this loving community. We always feel welcomed and enjoy the meals and staff. We make it a point to see some off the entertainment. Our parents have always been social butterflies. We are happy to call Brightview South River our parents home.

The staffs at Brightview are very nice.the concierge I met was so nice like she had been knowing for long. They are like family.

Brightview South River facilities and staff provided my stepmother with the care she needed as dementia slowly took control. The individual rooms, hallways, and various assembly rooms were always kept clean and neat. Each person I encountered over the year knew my stepmother’s name and condition. I joined her for meals frequently, and the waitstaff took care to serve the meals in a way that satisfied her peculiarities. In addition, the meals were tasty and well presented. My rating of five stars represents an experience much better than I could have expected. Well done, Brightview, and thank you!

My wife had had dementia since 2020, and by mid-2023 she needed more help than I could provide for her at home. After looking at several nearby places, I felt that Brightview South River checked all my boxes, and thus she entered their Well Springs dementia care facility in July 2023. After moving her into her very nice room, I immediately started visiting her every day for 3-4 hours including occasionally taking her to Brightview's daily Happy Hour, which frequently included entertainment and other activities. Perhaps more importantly, I had dinner with her every evening, something that Brightview encouraged and facilitated. Thus I got to know the staff quite well and they were excellent across the board, not only competent, but very compassionate, caring, and understanding. This continued for about a year until she passed away in June 2024. And once again the staff had been great making sure that my wife was as comfortable as possible right up until the very end. I would strongly recommend Brightview South River to anyone faced with a situation similar to mine. I would also add that, primarily due to the daily Happy Hours, I also got to interact with a lot of the folks who were in the Assisted Living side of Brightview, and they seemed to be very satisfied with their situation as well.
