I was there to take my grandson for a interview!I walked my little dog around the nice sidewalks It looks like a nice place and as I walked I noticed that some people who live there have dogs too. That's important glad to know they are pet friendly.

My wife, a late-stage Alzheimer's patient, was admitted to the Brightview Memory Care unit in August. I selected Brightview based on its strong reputation, professional staff, and quality facilities. Prior to admission, I specifically inquired about the use of bed guardrails. Management informed me that Brightview discouraged their use, citing difficulties with linen changes. So I purchased a hospital bed without guardrails. Within 3-4 weeks of her admission, my wife experienced her first fall from the bed. She had a big bump on her head and was rushed via ambulance to the hospital for extensive testing to rule out a hematoma. About a week later, she fell out of bed again, leaving a pool of blood on the floor. Again she was rushed to the hospital. She received three staples in her head after enduring more than six hours of testing and medical procedures. The following week, she fell a third time, though she was determined to be uninjured, and didn’t require hospitalization. Following the third incident, I confronted management. They advised me to purchase a long body pillow as a preventative measure. I immediately purchased the pillow and placed it on the bed’s edge. My wife did not experience any subsequent falls. Sadly, she passed away a few weeks later. While my grief is primarily focused on the loss of my wife of 40 years, I cannot dismiss the possibility that these repeated falls may have accelerated her decline. Why didn’t management advise me to get a bed pillow sooner? Patient care is the essence, the very purpose of their existence. To anyone considering admission to Brightview, make sure your loved one has a bed with guardrails or a body pillow on day one. You don’t want to see your loved one lying on a hospital bed frightened and crying in pain with IVs, catheters and monitoring devices all over his or her body as I did.

The place is perfect for my mother!! She absolutely loves the place & often comments on how kind the staff are to her!! I have noticed myself how nice & clean the entire place is, friendliness of staff towards myself and others that live there. It's truly worth putting a family member there plus all the things they have for your family members to do during the day if they do choose to!! Thank you Brightview Westminster Ridge for being the best facility I have ever been to!! David Bailey

My mother is in Well Spring Village—the memory care part of Brightview Westminster Ridge Senior Retirement Community. Since my mother has been there, the staff have made a tremendous effort to help her settle in and to make her feel comfortable and safe. I am amazed at the staff’s patience and compassion for the memory care residents. Lyndsay, Vonnie, Sivvy, Andi and all the other staff are amazing. Well Spring Village has exceeded our expectations for the wonderful care my mother is receiving, the activities that they provide and the beautiful, well maintained property.

Dining manager Elizabeth is genuinely terrible to staff. While eating with my family I have heard her yell and berate teenage staff for no reason. She is short with staff and residents and I have heard her talk badly about residents. Rest of staff is nice and understanding to me and my family.
