How refreshing to walk into an elder care facility unexpected to find happy, engaged residente and staff. The clean, bright, cheerful and nice smelling environment was uplifting and made my visit so relaxing and worry free. I've been in so many facilities like all over Dane and Jefferson County, and this home really stands out. I was especially impressed with the staff, who were not on their phones at all and seemed genuinely happy to help. Wow, and thank you!

Lakehouse of Lake Mills had the best care for my mother, hands down!! Finding a home away from home for each of our loved ones presents its challenges. I had a difficult time finding an assisted living facility that was a good fit for my mom. From my first phone call with Phyllis and the excellent tour with Sadi, I knew the facility would be a safe and clean place for my mom. The care plan established by Nurse Katie and Sadi made me confident that my mom was in good hands. Through the ongoing challenging requests and care plan updates, Katie and Sadi were flexible and workable with me and ensured my mom’s needs were met and communicated to the caregivers. This care aided in my mom’s overall quality of life and helped alleviate my stress by giving me some peace of mind during a difficult time. Sadi, the director, is an amazing leader and went out of her way to help my mom whenever she needed something with a positive, sweet, caring, and professional manner…I can't say enough good things about her - she is fantastic! Sadi has a great team in place, which makes a HUGE difference in your loved one’s quality of care. The Office Manager, Phyllis and the Nurse, Laura are also great assets to the Lakehouse team, they are both so hands on and very helpful. It is clear that these individuals don’t just go to work, they have a passion for their work. Lakehouse of Lake Mills was a wonderful, cozy “home” for my mom, nestled in a friendly neighborhood among small town living. Every step of the way, Lakehouse has been amazing. The entire staff is caring, friendly, and responsive. My mom has a beautiful room. Prices are reasonable. It’s been over a year and I am still thankful for finding Lakehouse.

How does one choose an assisted living facility? We found that what was best for Mom and Dad was a smaller place with an incredible staff. We have grown to understand and greatly appreciate how well this amazing staff at Brook Gardens Place gets to know each resident and then how each person shows how much they care. This is evident in their positive outlook, kind and friendly caregiving, frequent communication between administrative staff and family members, excellent nursing services, and clean environment. We are forever grateful we found Brook Gardens Place!
