I cannot say enough positive things about our experience with The Opal at Bluewater Bay. I only wish we had found this assisted living facility much sooner. The environment established by Barbara and her staff is always welcoming for residents and family alike. Opal has a very at-home feel, is very clean and tastefully appointed, and the staff’s care for your loved ones is genuine. Living quarters for residents are all functional and modern, and promote a sense of independence and dignity. Meals in the dining room are well thought out and inviting, while patient care, laundry and room cleaning service are performed diligently and with a smile. My family will forever be grateful to Opal for making our Mom feel so welcomed and important, and for comforting our entire family through her time on Hospice. I honestly do not know what we would have done without them.

The Executive director, administrator, nursing staff, and techs are fantastic here at Opal. They went over and above what I would expect when caring for my father in law. The entire team comes together for your loved ones. Having a place that actually cares for your family member means everything!!! Thank you.

We visited the Opal at Bluewater Bay to reconnect with a family member we hadn’t seen in years. She was well-dressed, her hair neatly combed, and she greeted us with a warm smile. She confidently expressed her love for this place, stating that it truly felt like home.

Had 2 family members live at The Opal & highly recommend this assisted Living Facility. Environment provides a home like feel & is very clean. Staff is exceptional in how they care for your loved ones & in how they keep the family well informed of any changes in your loved one’s health. The meals are carefully planned by the chef & are delicious. Social activities are fun for all & your loved one is always encouraged to join. My family members felt loved by the staff as well as safe which is important. They really considered this place home. The greatest compliment I can provide is that Opal at Bluewater Bay would one day be my choice.

Making the decision to move our aging parents, both suffering from dementia, into a care facility was incredibly difficult. However, we couldn’t be more grateful for Barbara and her amazing team at The Opal at Bluewater Bay. The nursing staff goes above and beyond, showing genuine care not only for the residents' physical health but also their mental and emotional well-being. One of the most touching moments came from my father, who, despite his dementia, said, ‘Son, I love this place. It’s so clean, the people are kind, and the food is great. If I ever need to go to a place like this when I’m older, I want it to be here.’ That, to me, says everything."
