I recently visited Brookdale Burlington to inquire about care options for a family member. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm and welcoming. They provided a thorough tour of the community, which was bright, spacious, and inviting. I had the opportunity to speak with both the care staff and the management team, and it was clear that they are deeply committed to providing excellent care for their residents. All of my questions were answered, and I left with a great impression of the community.

Brookdale has a comfortable, home-like facility and (best of all) amazing, thoughtful staff. My mom's adjustment to living there went very smoothly. She has regained mobility, made new friends, and is becoming more engaged and at home there by the day. Her spirits are up, and I believe the environment at Brookdale has improved her life immeasurably.

My mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s last year and then broke her femur, greatly impairing her mobility. Although there are several facilities in our area, we ultimately chose Brookdale based on the longevity and professionalism of their staff, overall cleanliness and pleasant decor, the secure nature of the facility and the wide variety of services offered. After about a month now, I am very pleased with the decision we made. My mother is adjusting well and comments often how well the staff treats her – that’s really the most important thing to me. Personally, I have found the staff to be very professional and always willing to help in any way they can. I visit almost every weekday and my experience has been very consistent – everyone is friendly and attentive, and the administration staff in particular have been amazingly supportive in making this transition as easy as possible. Overall, a very well run facility with excellent staff.

We have been searching for a facility to place our mother, with moderate Alzheimers. When we contacted Brookdale Burlington, Stephanie Franklin arranged tours for us on both the Memory Care and Assisted Living sides of their business. She did a superb job of answering all our questions, and has remained in contact with us as the family works through this process. I could not recommend the Brookdale Burlington facilities, and especially Stephanie highly enough. These are tough decisions to make for a family, and Stephanie and the staff at Brookdale has made the process easier. Thank you to all the wonderful people at Brrodale Burlington!

This started as a decent experience and the staff seemed both knowledgeable and helpful...until they weren't. We were told that my dad was accepted, we paid the deposit, started moving in furniture and had plans to officially move him in in 3 days...and we were told that they were no longer going to accept him. We had to come back to get all of our furniture moved out (which no one seemed eager to help with) and had no assistance in finding another place despite the short notice. We had already terminated in-home care starting on move in day, as we assumed we would no longer need it and had to scramble to regain in-home care. We were told the deposit would be returned, so we waited...and waited...and waited. We were told to call corporate on our own, while the staff at Brookdale did not lift a finger to help with this process. We eventually found a new memory care facility and had to put another deposit down before we received the deposit back from Brookdale. 5 weeks later we received our money and can now leave this review. 10/10 do not recommend leaving your loved one in their care.
