Brookdale Cary has been a wonderful community for my uncle. He moved in over a year ago and, during that time, he has consistently received the care and attention he’s required, even as his needs have changed. The folks working there treat him with a personal touch that is always appreciated and frequently heart-warming. The staff and management communicate well with our family, being available when we have questions and reaching out when they have information to provide – or when there are highlights to share. We feel secure knowing my uncle is at Brookdale Cary, and, even better, he enjoys being there, taking part in the numerous activities and having attention paid to him. They do a great job!

Brookdale Cary has been an incredible place for our loved one, and we couldn’t be more grateful. The staff is truly exceptional…caring, attentive, and always going the extra mile to make residents feel at home. It’s heartwarming to see how they take the time to learn everyone’s names, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The facility itself is always spotless and well-maintained, providing a safe and comfortable environment. Every time we visit, our loved one looks happy, engaged, and well cared for, which gives us such peace of mind. Brookdale is a wonderful community, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place where their loved one will be treated with kindness, dignity, and respect.

Our family could not be happier with Brookdale Cary! From the moment we walked in, we knew this was the perfect place for our mother. The caring and compassionate staff go above and beyond to ensure she is comfortable, happy, and well cared for. Our mother absolutely loves the food and constantly raves about how amazing it is! Brookdale Cary’s dedicated chef crafts fresh, delicious, and nutritious meals, creating an exceptional dining experience. It’s evident that a great deal of thought and care goes into every dish, making mealtime something truly special. She also loves the variety of outings and activities planned for the residents. Whether it’s a restaurant, a trip to a local attraction, or a fun social event, she always has something to look forward to. These outings bring her so much joy and give her a sense of independence and adventure. The environment at Brookdale Cary is warm, welcoming, and feels just like home. We have such peace of mind knowing she is surrounded by such a wonderful community. We highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for exceptional care for their loved ones!

Brookdale Cary is an exceptional community. The staff there are incredibly nice and always ready to help, ensuring that every resident is well-cared for. Their genuine compassion and dedication to providing care are truly commendable. Kentisha and Stacy have activities set up for the residents and family that are engaging and fun for everyone, there’s always something to look forward to. These activities not only keep the residents entertained but also help in maintaining their physical and mental well-being. Ray is amazing and has a passion for helping people. Iwona is caring and compassionate and leads with her heart. June has a true nursing heart and cares deeply about each resident. Walter makes delicious menus and food to keep everyone fed! I would NOT recommend this facility to anyone. We were completely duped to move my father into the facility for dementia care. They spoke a big game about special events, field trips, personal care and delicious food. All promises were lies. We had him moved out in less than 48 hours. During that time we were able to take pictures of blatant neglect. The toilet in his room was broken and was not fixed for over 24 hours. The cafeteria floor was so sticky and dirty we thought it was a finish to prevent falls; it was not. Any time he or another resident needed help I had to search for a caregiver. I was able to talk to other family members who were there desperately trying to support loved ones who were not getting the care they were paying for. I did not come in contact with one family of a dementia patient there who said they would recommend Brookdale. They all were looking for the next move. We recognize the limits of group facilities due to NC laws, but this was horrible. I will say it has encouraged me to become an advocate for dementia care in the area. This is why I will continue to write about the experience at Brookdale Cary. Picture attached was a wheelchair bound resident who was left by herself in the cafeteria. She was yelling for someone to help her.
