Our House provided my father in law with a safe, clean, and caring environment. The staff always greeted him by name and always with a smile. The facility was always decorated in a festive and inviting way. The other residents seemed happy and engaged with all the fun activities being offered. The exercise equipment was close and available to my father in law's room. We are so grateful for the excellent and compassionate care he received while he was a resident there.

I sincerely cannot say enough good things about Our House of Cedar City. I honestly have such peace of mind every day knowing my beloved family member is safe and well-cared for there. The staff and caregivers there are skilled, personable, and they take the time to really know the residents and give them individualized attention. I go there at least once a day to visit, and I am always impressed with how hard the staff works to make sure that the residents are cared for. I can always call or text the administrators, caregivers, or nurses, and they also text/call me if they ever have questions or just want to give me a quick update. This level of access and communication was one thing that impressed me and was so important for my peace of mind from the very beginning. When I first called around to see what was available in Cedar City, some other places never even picked up their phones or called me back. Our House is perfect for what we need, and they are always asking me if they can ever do more for us. I often joke with them that I'll probably be moving in there in about 30 years, but I also mean it. I am so grateful.

From the first time I ever walked into toured the property, Our House felt like I was at home and not some sterile, impersonal facility. There was music playing and several individuals interacting together. The staff were warm, friendly and very accommodating. I was looking for a place that would be able to take care of my father; it was important to me that he feel comfortable and well cared for. I also wanted a place with plenty of activities and options where my Dad would feel he still had freedom and independence, along with a safety net of support for his Parkinsons, when and if he needed it. I had many conversations with the staff and they were very patient and answered all of my questions. These impressions have remained with me, even after my father has since passed away. I still occasionally stop in to speak with the staff and continue to experience that same warmth and consideration as before. I recommend anyone to stop in and see for themselves if Our House wouldn't be a great place for your family member too!

My mother had a sudden and very serious illness. On Friday afternoon my mother entered hospice care while she was still hospitalized. We were tasked with finding a care facility over the weekend. Our house worked with us on their days off to ensure our mother had a safe place to go. Thank you Amanda!! Once there her care was wonderful and the room was spacious enough for us to be there at the end of her life. The only downside is that everything is billed monthly and my mother was there from Monday afternoon and passed on Wednesday. Out of pocket was over $5000 for about 48 hours in the facility. Even knowing that, I would still have taken her there. Just make sure you understand the contract.

We could not be more pleased with the entire staff at Our House Assisted Living. These truly remarkable individuals provided a clean, safe, warm and friendly atmosphere for my father-in-law in the final chapter of his life. In no time at all they not only knew him by name, but understood his needs and respectfully took care of them. Their response time when he would push his button requesting assistance was impressive. As his health declined, they adapted to his needs seamlessly. Communication with us was always friendly, yet professional. Words cannot express the gratitude we feel in our hearts for the loving and tender way our sweet grandpa was cared for at Our House.
