I’m writing this review after I watched a staff member named Sam yell at the patient she was transporting in a wheelchair. I was awaiting a CT scan of my own when Sam wheeled this poor old woman in and screamed at her when she could not get the scan done her. She was in her face, rude, and throwing her hands around. The poor old woman did nothing to instigate it. Myself and other guests in the lobby were absolutely disgusted and agreed we would not want our loved ones treated this way, ever!

My mother-in-law enjoyed a little over a year on the independent side of the facility, happy to have her own little place, get in a good little walk to the dining room to meet with others and share in activities as she wished. Katie Finn, as Executive Director cares very deeply about her community's happiness and is committed to work through the challenges that arise from time to time in many business environments. The staff were always courteous and caring as they interacted with mom and the visiting family. Thank you for taking good care of her!

My husband became a resident @ Brookdale Desert Ridge in November 2020. He was admitted to the Memory Care Unit. Visitors weren't allowed inside the building due to Covid restrictions, but window visits occurred. He remained there until his passing in December 2022. With the various stages of his dementia, there were many questions by me. Communication and his care were excellent. The quality of leadership, care & concern for the resident and family, various activities for the resident & families, birthday celebrations, etc... made for a positive environment. The dedicated & knowledgeable staff had a caring attitude in treating each patient with respect especially with the emotional side of one's nature. At the end of my visits, I knew Jim was getting his medical & physical needs met too! Having a camera in his room was a plus for his safety. Grateful for our experience! Mary K.

Brookdale has provided my Mother with the most excellent care. Under the professional guidance and direction of Cindy Borski, Cindy Freeman, and Cole Williams, I am greatly impressed with the staff, nurses and caregivers keeping my Mother alive. My Mother has surpassed her life expectancy diagnosed by her doctors. The management and staff in the Alzheimer’s and Dimensia wing, treat my Mother like their very own. I can not express in words how truly grateful I am to everyone at Brookdale. When I am out of town, I no longer have to worry about my Mother’s care, it is a huge relief to me. Thank you Brookdale !!!
