Update as of February 7 ,2026 - i want to acknowledge the maintenance team under Wayne. They are terrific and very responsive. They keep my mom's apartment clean and have gone above and beyond to install a motion light in her closet and move the bars to make it easier for mom to navigate. Thanks Wayne and team. You rock. From the moment I moved my mom into Brookdale of Emerson, I knew she was in good hands. The team of nurses and Caregivers is great. They are kind, highly responsive and even encouraged me to take a vacation as they saw how stressed I was. When my mom needed pre-surgery cleansing, they took control and did not even charge extra. Thank you team.

I want to give a huge thank you to Teresita Garcia and the entire staff at Brookdale Senior Living, where my uncle, Jaimie Andrade, resides. The level of care, compassion, and professionalism they show every day is truly exceptional. Teresita goes above and beyond to make sure my uncle feels comfortable, respected, and cared for—she treats him like family. The entire Brookdale team creates such a warm and welcoming environment that gives our family peace of mind knowing he’s in great hands. Thank you, Teresita, and the whole Brookdale staff for your dedication, kindness, and the genuine love you show for the residents. Your hard work makes all the difference, and we appreciate you more than words can say! My family and I are truly grateful.

We moved my Mom to Emerson Brookdale from Texas back in March. She is really enjoying her time there. She especially enjoys the activities planned by Carol, the Event Organizer! The have multi-cultural events, museum field trips, magic and musical entertainment as well as seasonal events with entertainment. Mom is having a great time and we appreciate Carol so much for all she does! Did I mention the activities? Last week they made gorgeous fall wreaths! There is flower arranging, rock painting and flower pot painting! Thanks Carol for keeping your residents entertained and engaged!

Teresita, Activities Director has been doing a wonderful job with my mother.!!! My mother is in the memory care section and Teresita always has creative and fun activities for the residence, and make sure that my mother does not spend too much time alone in her room, which was a concern of mine when she moved over to that section . It’s a lovely facility, the food is amazing ! They basically have food that is homemade and my mother is very happy with the food there. I would recommend Brookdale to anyone in need of long-term care and assisted living.

My father, Teddy, is loving his life at Brookdale Emerson! He is so happy with his comfortable studio apartment that is cleaned weekly, the wonderful activities and shows that Carol sets up to include everyone, the people from the front desk and having the security of people around you who care! He feels welcome and cared for all the time! I really have never seen him be so social! It is such a wonderful feeling to call him, and know he is happy and being looked after. I am so grateful for him to have this place! I would recommend it to anyone and everyone!
