Brookdale Hampton Cove

Brookdale is an excellent caring and compassionate community that gives your family member respect dignity and love.

My dad was a resident of Brookdale Hampton Cove. The caregivers there took great care of him. I can’t say enough good things about the care and the environment there. But I will warn you their billing department is absolute garbage. They can’t correct a bill, they can’t respond to anything with billing that it doesn’t take 30 days or more. After my dad passed they withdrew the next month’s payment anyway. It took 45 days to get a refund check and it was written to the “estate of” now my mom has to go through probate to cash the check for the money they never should have taken. So care gets 5 stars, billing 0 stars.

I am generally happy with the care my parents have received. The staff is caring and responds to questions and concerns. The food could be better, but I think this is a common problem at memory care facilities. Residents' rooms could be cleaned more thoroughly and frequently.

I have been very pleased with Brookdale Hampton Cove. My father is well cared for and feels safe and secure. He enjoys interacting with other senior adults in the community and participating in all the activities Brookdale offers. The staff always call him by name and speak kindly to him. My questions and comments are well-received and quickly addressed. I highly recommend Brookdale Hampton Cove.

Brookdale Hampton Cove has been wonderful. My Mom arrived on 1 June 2020 and the staff has gone above and beyond. In August, we were allowed to have a 80th Birthday party for my Mom with the family staying in the foyer and the staff bringing my Mom to the Front Door and sat up a table for her to sit at and open her gifts and we got to watch her enjoy her ice cream Birthday cake. We were also allowed so celebrate her 63rd Wedding Anniversary. Again the family stayed in the foyer while the staff brought my Mom to the door and we got to watch her enjoy her ice cream treat. During this entire COVID process, the staff has been very helpful and informative. The family is encouraged to call anytime to check on their loved ones. If you call and ask a question, you will get an answer. All of the staff members have been warm and friendly. They understand the difficulty of having to leave your loved one. While visits are not allowed at this time, the staff has stepped up to make sure the Brookdale Community had a Wonderful Holiday and relayed all of our love to our loved ones. While the experience of not being able to see our Mom has been difficult, it has been made much easier by the wonderful Brookdale Staff.
