Sweet, homey, clean, caring staff, great food! My friend is happy & content in his apartment, has made lots of friends. Can’t say enough good things about the staff - they are a great team - caring, helpful, friendly. Just the right size, nice outdoor courtyard & screened porch. This place has been a lifesaver!

Staff is attentive and polite. Older carpets pulled up and new flooring in facility giving a fresh clean look. Staff is so well rounded in responsibilities that you feel like you could ask almost anyone and get the answer you need. Convenient location just off the highway with quick access to stores and restaurants.

I stopped by The Opal after I was stood up by another facility that I had an appointment with. I thought that I would just be able to get a brochure and make an appointment. Well no, the simply amazing staff went out of their way to not only provide me with information AND a tour of the facility all while they were shorthanded with the Director being out sick AND the fire alarm going haywire! I was so surprised that they treated me so well. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and enjoyed meeting and speaking with the residents where it is apparent that they are well taken care if and most importantly HAPPY. If you are searching for a quality facility, The Opal should most definitely should be on your list! Nancy Morris

All of the staff have been very kind and caring. The meals are prepared with care and every one has been very good and served efficiently and the food is warm. I highly recommend The Opal as a top notch Assisted Living Facility.

My mom moved in about three months ago to OPAL on Hermitage, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she’s receiving. The nurses are wonderful, and the staff—along with the administration—have been so patient and helpful, making the transition from home to assisted living as smooth as possible. The facility is very clean, the food is great, and communication with me has been excellent. They treat her with kindness and patience, even on her more difficult days. Highly recommend!
