Brookdale Lake Ridge

After a bad experience with another Assisted Living facility, I am BEYOND GRATEFUL to have found this place. My mom has been here for about a month now, and my dad is currently in rehab and will be joining her soon. She did nothing but complain about the old place, and when we went to visit dad yesterday, she went on and on to dad about how much she likes it here! Very little staff turnover, excellent care ratios, and great communication. They are quick to recognize and address problems and take the time to discuss with family and answer all your questions. Staff are happy here because management cares about and supports them. Everyone here is caring and compassionate, and they really take the time to get to know each and every resident. Great food, and engaging activities, too. My mom tends to isolate, but she ACTUALLY joined in on Karaoke yesterday! In a few words, THIS PLACE IS DIFFERENT!!!

I had my mom and dad at a different facility for 5 years. Had convinced myself that all assisted living facilities are about the same, boy was I wrong! Every employee we have met here is happy to be here and does their job with care and compassion and a smile. We attended the Christmas luncheon we were amazed how many people were there and how delicious the food was. My mom has only been there a short time now but the care she is receiving is far superior from this facility that she was at prior to this. I found an article in US News and world reports that was non-biased and it ranked Brookdale at lake ridge extremely high. It makes it easier for me to sleep at night knowing that she is so well cared for. I highly recommend Brookdale at lake ridge for your loved ones.

After researching, touring and admitting Mom to a couple other Assisted Living Facilities, the difference between Brookdale and the others was very clear. Every staff person is friendly, engaged, patient and seeks to help in any way possible. Staff appeared much better trained than other locations. Everyone at the facility would call us by name. Care was consistently excellent and provided with compassion. Communication was great from all departments. Truly dedicated professionals who make a very positive difference. Management did a fabulous job.

My mother lived with me for 7 years. I was very hesitant about looking into assisted living for her because I was concerned about her getting the same quality of care that I had provided. When I was no longer able to meet her needs at home, I visited 10 different assisted living communities to try and find the best fit for Mom. I found that Brookdale LakeRidge was a perfect fit. The residence is lovely and the quality of the care Mom receives is excellent! There is a true family atmosphere of caring and support. The staff is always smiling and always responsive. Most importantly, Mom loves it there! Brookdale provides her with social, creative, mental, and physical opportunities that keep her mentally and physically fit. I truly cannot say enough great things about Brookdale. I am so grateful and thankful that Mom lives in a place that makes her happy and that gives me peace of mind.

Brookdale is fantastic and the perfect new home for my cousin! Yes, the facilities, grounds, food, transportation and third party support (including wonderful doctors like Dr. Chantal Lewis, beauty/barber services, Omnicare prescriptions, Genesis Therapy--all of which are available on-site) are awesome!! However, the absolute best thing about Brookdale Lake Ridge are the caring team there, including Christine with Sales, Karen with Finance, Millie with Nursing, Ellis with Operations, Concierge AZ and Chef Zac!!! My cousin and our family are very appreciative of the little things that they've done to get settled in, like getting the wall mount & TV hooked into the free cable, having wifi for his gaming, talking about his interest in Marvel and working with his cataract surgery appointments.
