Our Aunt Betty Became a resident at WestMark last Week. Everyone has been welcoming and helpful, Irene helped get her registered , Ross gave us an overview of the facility. Betty has had nothing but praises for the food and courtesy of all the employees. Irene gave her a great welcome and a dozen roses. That got her stay off to a great start. We thank you for welcoming our aunt so graciously and for taking care of her.

Since June of 2023, Old Bill, a friend of mine has lived at West Mark. I visit him three to five times a week, and have come to know most of the caretakers as caring and hard-working professionals. Bill often needs extra help as he cannot walk, and can barely stand up. Kimberly Singer, in particular, takes special care of Bill. I am grateful for all of them. I know Bill is in good hands.

Mom has been with WestMark over 6 months now. All staff has been attentive and kind. Kimmie and Jason have gone above and beyond dealing with medical concerns. Ross and Irene made Mom’s transition to assisted living smooth, and are always available to address any concerns. I visit sometimes as often as every few days, and the facility is always clean and bright.

Our family moved my mom into Westmark two months ago. It wasn’t an easy decision to take this step and to say I was nervous and apprehensive would be a huge understatement. I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR WESTMARK. The team we’ve worked with has gone above and beyond anything I could’ve hoped for to help make the transition as smooth as possible for my mom and they have communicated with me continuously to help me also be comfortable with our decision. My mom has been in her apartment for two months now and I can honestly say that I’ve seen her smile more in the last two months than I have in the last two years. She has made friends with other residents and is participating in community events like bingo and they also just had a Halloween Social. The care and accommodation that Irene, Kimmie, and Ross have shown my mom and my family has been a godsend and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. I only have my mom left and she struggles with the cognitive and health challenges that so many of our aging family members face. The support and professionalism of the team at Westmark has helped make a very difficult time for our family a net positive experience and I am beyond grateful. Above all, my mom is thriving and truly seems to be happy. That’s everything for me. Thank you, Kimmie. Thank you, Irene. Thank you, Ross.

Three months ago our mom, who was still living in her home with help, went down when her legs gave out. While she was at a skilled nursing unit we realized she could not be at her home any longer. We contacted a close friend who has worked in social services her entire career and she told us she had the perfect place for our mom. She has known our mom for 60+ years and wanted what was best for her. Irene Hidalgo met me and my two siblings as we walked in. We also met Ross Christensen, the director. As Irene walked us through, we met various members of the WestMark family. I refer to them as family, as after two months, there are like our family. Irene had to tend to a matter and left us to look around. As we did, more family members greeted us and introduced themselves. They made us feel genuinely welcome. WestMark is a smaller facility and feels intimate, not overwhelming. It is very well maintained and kept very clean. Cat, in housekeeping does a great job and keeps you entertained. She is a character. Kimmie and Jason handle nursing and medical tasks and are on top of it. During the week, Carol manages the front desk and myriad other tasks. The food is wonderful. I speak from experience as I've dined with mom numerous times. The entire WestMark family is the best and mom is thriving as a result. Mom is 99 and requires their highest level of care, and she receives the highest level. If I needed assisted living, this is where I would be.
