Brookdale Northbrook

We had a wonderful experience working with Tina at Inspirations of Northbrook. She assisted my parents with their transition into assisted living, and she was truly exceptional throughout the entire process. Tina was incredibly patient, kind, and understanding, taking the time to answer all of our questions and ensuring my parents felt comfortable and supported every step of the way. Moving into assisted living can be an emotional and overwhelming experience, but Tina’s compassion and professionalism made the transition much easier for our entire family. My parents are now safe, comfortable, and enjoying their new community…they’ve already met many wonderful people. We highly recommend Tina and Inspirations of Northbrook to anyone considering assisted living for a loved one.

It had come to the point in my life that living alone and a long drive from my daughter is not a good thing. My daughters and I started researching for a place close to my daughter in Mt. Prospect. From the minute I walked into Inspirations of Northbrook, I was made to feel not only welcome, but safe. Tina walked me through every tour. It is so beautiful. It was a hard choice to leave a home I had been in for over 40 years. Tina took my daughter and me through every step and process that would not only make me feel safe, but let my daughters feel safe in knowing, I am not alone. The environment is bright, open, modern, and inviting. You do not step into a hallway or meeting room without having smiles surround you. The residents are welcoming and kind. I have been welcomed and taken in as if I have known some of these people forever. One sweet lady in particular, Nicki, was my ambassador the first day. The staff is outstanding. My dog, McKenzie, has been walked for me and treated as if she is a special girl. Today is my fourth day here. My cheeks hurt from smiling. I have had fine dining, restaurant quality meals. The food has been wonderful. Tina has continued to make sure I know the ropes and to feel comfortable in my new surroundings. I cannot express enough how much the people here and the setting itself, has helped me to make an emotionally challenging move in my life. I am happy to be here. Marilyn B.

Brookdale of Northbrook has provided a warm and welcoming environment for my dad. The entire staff has been outstanding in helping my dad to make the transition. The daily programming has helped keep my dad engaged as well as facilitate his ability to meet members of this vibrant community. We are extremely grateful that Brookdale has provided a new home with all the amenities my dad will need for his next chapter.

My mom recently moved to Brookdale Northbrook and is thriving. After losing my father 18 months ago, Mom needed a drastic change in lifestyle and at 91, she found it difficult to live on her own. Her social life, network of new friends and community at Brookdale have given her a sense of belonging she hasn’t experienced in years. As difficult as this change may be for many seniors, the staff stepped in and helped make this transition as smooth as possible. My family is forever grateful to our new Brookdale family for taking such great care of her and making sure she enjoying life to the fullest as she transitions to another lifestyle change.
