BROOKDALE PORT ORANGE

Mom entered Brookdale in April 2025. Almost immediately we noticed an improvement in her attitude, participation, getting her medications at the proper times, etc. All of the good food three times a day is doing wonders. She loves her apartment; Brookdale is now her home. She has access to a hairdresser and manicure at Brookdale. Occasionally they have outings for Lunch, a Scenic Drive or shopping. The staff at Brookdale are very nice and extremely helpful with any questions or concerns that I may have had. The Nursing Staff, along with their Consulting Dr and visiting Nurse are top notch. I recommend Brookdale to anyone looking for Assisted Living near Port Orange, Fl. My only regret is that we had not investigated Assisted Living a few years earlier.

My family member has dementia and broke her hip. She had been in another assisted living facility but needed more care than they could give. Brookdale in Port Orange was perfect for her. It has limited residents and the care and staff have been phenomenal!! The atmosphere is quite homey and all of the residents are treated like family. We are truly thankful that she is getting wonderful care but also in a very caring environment.

Brookdale was one of four assisted living facilities I toured after my dad decided he did not want to go home after being hospitalized due to a fall. Brookdale has a warm, welcoming environment and felt less like an institution compared to other places i visited. He receives a high level of care due to his mobility issues and medication schedule. He has an excellent rapport with the nurses and houskeeping staff. I feel he is in the best place possible. It is such a relief to know he is in good hands!

We just assisted a dear friend of ours into Brookdale Port Orange. Darlene Knight, the Sales Manager gave us a tour through the Facility. It is lovely. Ms. Knight described in detail all the services at Brookdale and answered all of our questions . The complex has a pretty dining room, multiple living rooms, multiple game areas, an outdoor screened in patio area with an open air courtyard and even a hair salon. We attended a fun luau with delicious food. The apartment is spacious. The staff has 24 hour aids and nursing staff to assist each resident as needed. The pricing is reasonable for the services provided. Our friend is very happy here and so are we to knowing that he will have the 24/7 care and assistance that he needs.

We have recently moved my mom and step dad to Florida and it was a huge decision on the right place for them. We toured a few places in Port Orange and when we walked in Brookdale we knew it was the one, without question. Since they have arrived, the care has been excellent. The staff is so friendly and seems to really care about the well being and comfort of their residents. It give us such a peace of mind. Thank you Brookdale Port Orange you have made the transition a little easier❤️
