am writing to formally express serious concerns regarding the care and living conditions at the facility where my mother resides. When Susie was the Executive Director, the building appeared to be running well. However, since then, there has been a noticeable decline in both staffing and overall conditions. My mother has repeatedly experienced delays in receiving her medications due to an apparent shortage of Medication Technicians. I have been informed that there are times when only one Med Tech is covering all three floors, which is unacceptable and poses a significant risk to residents’ health and safety. In addition to the staffing concerns, there is an ongoing and severe bedbug infestation. The issue has reportedly escalated to the point where bedbugs are falling from the ceiling, indicating that the building is heavily infested. From what I can see, there has been little to no effective action taken to properly address or resolve this problem. These issues are deeply troubling, especially given the vulnerability of the residents. Timely medication administration and a safe, sanitary living environment are basic standards of care, and they are not being met. I am requesting immediate attention to these matters, including a clear plan to resolve the staffing shortages and a professional, thorough extermination process to eliminate the bedbug infestation. Please provide a written response outlining what steps are being taken to correct these issues. Thank you for your prompt attention to this serious matter.
