Brookdale River Road

Brookdale River Road is a wonderful facility. The entire staff is dedicated to making the residents feel at home. We chose River Road because Deanna is the MOST welcoming, knowledgeable intake specialist and with Samatha at the front desk makes everyone feel like this is truly their home. And the food!!! I have had (too) many family members in similar establishments and this place has the BEST. Restaurant quality. Anthony runs a super competent kitchen . At first we thought the furniture style was dated then we realized this is like the homes of many residents. Perfect. We like that it is a small facility-ensuring personalized attention. My Dad was only at Brookdale for a short time, but the staff made a huge impact on him and our family. Everyone, all levels of staff, had the kindest heart and supported our family through the difficult time of having a loved one receive hospice care. We were immediately treated like family. My Dad's apartment was clean, well taken care of, and the TV was always left on his favorite channel- regardless if he was awake to watch the whole show. I cannot rave about this place enough! Truly the best!

Brookdale Keizer is a very comfortable and homey place. The staff is great and very engaging with the residents. They have taken great care of my Dad's wife since he passed a year ago and took great care of him before he passed. They always have some sort of activities happening and great food. I am so happy that we found Brookdale

Absolutely a 5-star rating from my entire family. My Mom suffered a major stroke and was rushed to the hospital with a life ending prognosis. We knew that the next step for my Mom was hospice care. The transition care Manager at the hospital gave me a list of approx. 30 hospice care facilities that we were to choose from with no recommendations. I called Brookdale to inquire about their hospice care and spoke with Deanna, Director of Marketing, and after only 3 minutes during the call, I told Deanna to reserve an apartment for my Mom. Everything Deanna had told me during my initial call with her happened. The hospice nurses were excellent and responsive. We’re grateful for the care Brookdale provided to my Mom during a difficult time for our family. My Mom passed away peacefully and not in pain because of the care she received. Brookdale has become our home. We have made new friend's. It is a comfortable place to live. Most things are taken care of quickly, if possible. There’s a caring atmosphere among to workers here. As in any place,, there is always room for improvement and we have seen.that here. Thank you for loving all of us.
