BROOKDALE SAN MARCOS NORTH

Brookdale San Marcos North has been a true blessing for our family. From the very beginning, the staff welcomed us with warmth, patience, and understanding during what can be a very emotional transition. The community is clean, safe, and thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of its residents, but what really sets Brookdale apart is the people. The caregivers and staff go above and beyond every single day. They treat residents like family—with kindness, respect, and genuine compassion. We’ve seen our loved one thrive here: engaged in daily activities, well cared for, and truly happy. Communication with the staff has always been clear, timely, and honest, which has given our family tremendous peace of mind. We are incredibly grateful to the entire Brookdale team for the love and dedication they show. If you're looking for a place where your loved one will be treated with dignity and heart, Brookdale San Marcos North is it.

I want to know why Brookdale does not have hot water to bathe the residents in the Memory Care section? They have been bathing these residents with cold water. Higher up management has been made aware of this, and it has not been dealt with for over 30 days now. Looks like a complaint is in order to THHS. Please check on your loved ones if they are a resident at this place, they are being neglected.

Brookdale North is amazing! My parents have been there 6 weeks and they love it! The staff goes above and beyond to take care of their residents in every way. The food is excellent, the facility is clean and the staff is always caring, kind and friendly. My questions are always answered in a timely manner and any needs my parents have are addressed immediately. My sister and I could not have found a better place for them at this stage in their life. It’s home away from home! We love Brookdale North!

My mom has been at Brookdale North in San Marcos for 2 years. I can’t say enough good things about the staff. From the caregivers to the med techs, director to the nurses they are all amazing. The servers in the cafeteria and the resident Handyman are all awesome. They are patient,Caring and communicative. The activity coordinator has fun activities weekly for the residence, including a Friday happy hour! Don’t hesitate to consider this facility.

Moving my aunt to Brookdale San Marcos North was the best decision we could have made. She went from being lonely at home to having friends, activities, and a staff that treats her like royalty. Every time I stop by, she’s either laughing with someone, enjoying an activity, or telling me about the great food. It’s such a relief knowing she’s safe, happy, and actually having fun every day.
