GARDENS AT SHADOW HILLS

I moved into an independent living cottage here at The Gardens at Shadow Hills the first of April with the intention of staying 2 months while I recovered from shoulder surgery. Because of Page, Paul, the entire staff, and the people living here, my plans have changed. I have no plans on moving home any time soon. I hope to stay here indefinitely. I researched many facilities in Lubbock and found this place to be the best! Page showed a true interest in my well being and above and beyond to accommodate me and my medical condition. The cottage is great! My amenities include meals, weekly house cleaning, and weekly laundry if needed. I highly recommend this facility for independent living or assisted living.

Our experience started off fantastic. The young lady, Page that we toured with was very knowledgeable and you could tell she just honestly loved this facility. You could also tell by the interaction between her and the current patients how much they all enjoyed her. The Women that works at the front desk was very kind and warming. Immediately greeted us as soon as we walked in. There was a small group of ladies in the dinning room that seemed to be enjoying themselves by the amount of laughter. The activities staff director seemed to be very uplifting. When we walked out of the building we knew before we left that this was the right place. In the months that our family has been here we have enjoyed our visits. We hound Page with many questions and she always answers everything and is so positive about everything! Mom has a couple of caregivers and med techs that she has grown very fond of!

We moved my MIL to this facility in Lubbock over a year ago and overall have been very happy with the care she has received. Page is the sales manager, she was very knowledgeable and helpful with the move-in process, and still is our go-to if we have a problem that cannot be resolved, she is amazing. She knows all the residents by name and converses with them at every opportunity. Becky, Sean, Rosemary and Amanda all work together to make the residents feel like a family and we appreciate them all. Like my MIL says.....they've got some good people here! The new owners care about us because my room is always warm. If I can't be home, this is the place to be!

My wife and I placed my mother here over a year ago and have not regretted it. Everyone has been so sweet to her and they make her feel like family. Page has been our primary point of contact and has been wonderful! She is always interacting with the residents and has been so helpful when we have any questions. When we were looking to move my mother to an assisted living Page showed us around and was very helpful and has continued to be our main contact through everything. I highly recommend The Gardens at Shadow Hills and I recommend speaking to Page directly.

My parents have been living here for almost 2 months now and love it! Recently, my dad had to go to the hospital for a procedure that required an overnight stay. The van is getting "wrapped" with their new logo, and Page, who's the sales director, took them early in the morning and picked them up after hours the next day. That was above and beyond her duties. It's very much appreciated as I live far away and can't always take care of their needs. This place is wonderful and is taking care of their needs.
