I thought my dad was taken care of. Instead, he was video taped by an employee and posted on Tik Tok for over a month before anyone turned this employee in! So many rules and regulations broken and sadly we didn't know this until the week of dad's passing. So sad family has no recourse for violations such as this! Find another place for your loved ones!

My mother is here so I've seen first hand how awful this place has become. Housekeeper doesn't show up. Laundry not done. Meals going downhill and tonight they didn't even get dinner. There is one person there covering the whole facility. Time to look elsewhere

Mom has been at Brookdale for several years now, and I could not ask for a better place for her. I know that she is safe there. Love the staff, just wish the food was a little better. Christina, Barbara, and MyLeah are all dolls, who go above and beyond to care for my high maintenance mom!

When I began looking for a new community for my aunt, Brookdale Sherwood went above and beyond. Kristie stayed late to provide me with a tour of the community. She even met me at my job to bring by and pick up paperwork. Kara and the nursing staff have been great in keeping me informed of my aunt's prescription needs as well. Staff recognize my family and address us each time we visit my aunt. At the previous facility, my aunt called daily with concerns and upsets. Since her arrival 1.5 months ago, she has only had positive comments. I had meals with her there and have been impressed with the food. I very much appreciate the cohesive teamwork of the staff. Each person helps out, even if it's not his or her "hired job". Thank you guys for providing a community of fellowship and comfort for my aunt. I know she appreciates you guys as we do!

I wanted to take a few minutes out of my busy day to stop and send an acknowledgement on behalf of your new resident our mom. Like you have heard so many times before I’m sure, our mom is a precious jewel and we selected BrookDale for a couple of reason… First, from what I read and observed this facility has everything needed to make Ms. Evelyn’s stay a bit more comfortable and enjoyable. There seems to be a variety of opportunity for her to stay engaged in social living as she is used to. Secondly, I cannot begin to express in words our gratitude for Kristie Hunter, She and others staff members have displayed an overwhelming sense of caring and professionalism. Kristie Hunter stand out because of her way of connecting with the residents, and her knowledge on how best to handle most delicate situations during this time in our loved one life. This is a very hard transition on the family as a whole however, we have been able to adapt because of the Kristie proactively helpful nature and extraordinary skill set. She is invaluable!! Her sensitivity with the residents speaks volume, not to mention her infectious humor that kept us laughing and kept situations calm. Finally, It’s my pleasure to cheer “kudos” on Kristie’s behalf. She has consistently provided communication to us whenever we call or reach out asking the simplest questions or concerns. On a personal level, she’s charismatic and well-spoken, both qualities serve superior Customer Service! In closing, I’d like to restate my strong support for Kristie and perhaps you can acknowledge her in a special way. Please let her know we made contact with you as I felt this was well deserved.
