BROOKDALE SOUTH BAY

I recently had a tour with Jennell for a family member. I was very impressed with the accommodations. Also with the activities available. The staff all seemed very pleasant, professional and caring. I have no question that this will make a wonderful fit.

The assisted living is a hidden gem in South County. It has assisted living. It also has a specialized unit that provides 24 hour nursing care. And over 30 years of working in healthcare, this building truly is dedicated and has amazing staff. They treat their residence with respect and kindness. I had a family member there that lived in the assisted living for years and died in the nursing center that they have. I can say we had an amazing experience with them. Still today I would recommend them for anybody looking for senior care. Truly is an incredible building. They have very experienced staff with a lot of knowledge and tenure.

I had a disappointing experience with One of the nurses, whose name I believe is Petal, came across as unprofessional and dismissive. I felt that my concerns weren’t taken seriously, and the overall attitude made the environment feel unwelcoming. I hope the facility considers more training on respectful communication and patient care.
