This review is about the food. My husband and I were visiting and had dinner with residence. We had tacos, rice and beans. It wasn't even palatable. Mom, had a ham dish and the photo shows how much ham was actually in it. Management needs to do a better job!

The staff are incredibly compassionate and truly go above and beyond to care for their residents. It’s clear they treat everyone like family, creating a warm and supportive environment. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality assisted living in the area!

Brookdale Spring meadows is a community that is based on family and respect. They put their residents first by attending to their personalized care needs and wants. The community is also beautifully spaced and set up with a homey feel and lovely staff that you can trust to meet your concerns. They have been a trusted partner and make continuous strides to reach community in the Gallatin county. You can count on them to take care of your loved ones.

Although there are several staff members that genuinely care about the residents, it is clear that the facility is understaffed. As a result the quality of care is diminished. In addition, the dining menus are severally limited in terms of quality, quantity and choice. Very little fresh fruit or vegetables are made available to the residents. This is in contrast to what is presented on the Brookdale corporate site. Follow up> I called the Family Connection team and discussed my review with them. They indicated that someone from corporate would be calling me to talk about my concerns. No-one has called yet. For those of you that have left positive reviews, I encourage you to be more vigilant in regards to your family members care. I have heard directly from family members that there continue to be issues with the quality of food and the quality of care at Brookdale Springmeadows. These family members have noted that the response time to the help buttons in the rooms has been as long as 30 minutes. Imagine if your loved one actually fell and needed help immediately; wouldn't you expect a quicker response time. In the place my mother used to live in, I was there when she suffered a seizure. I was very grateful that help came within a couple of minutes after I pulled the cord for assistance. This is what should be expected at Brookdale Springmeadows. In terms of the food quality, it is my understanding that this next week the facility will finally have a food director for the first time in almost 3 months. I am skeptical that the quality and amount of food served with improve. There has still not been regular fresh fruit provided at all. I hope that someone will care to call me regarding my edited review. Things do need to improve now!!! 2nd Follow Up: The Brookdale Regional director did call me shortly after the update above. He listened and responded to my concerns. I will wait and see if this results in improved care and food quality at Brookdale Springmeadows. One thing he noted is that all the other facilities he oversees have fruit and snacks available for residents at all times during the day. I know this is still not occurring at this location.

We moved John’s mom there in early November. The staff make every step of the process a delight. They take note of personal desires, they respond to all questions and have welcomed our entire family with open arms. Upon her move, was a welcome gift and card from all the staff. That made Mom feel so loved and for one struggling with dementia they continue to make her feel safe, loved and wholly cared for. We couldn’t be more pleased with every single staff member. They include extended family in special events. We would highly recommend Brookdale Spring Meadows to all families.
