When my mother came into the facility she had a sour attitude and they couldn't seem to get through to her. I told them that her "love language" was sarcasm and joking. A couple of the staff started joking with her and she popped out of her shell and almost immediately felt at home. It was amazing what happened when they started speaking her "language". She settled in more easily and felt comfortable. I know this isn't exactly what someone might be looking for, but they met her where she needed to be met, and to me, that means the world : )

I had the most incredible experience, especially with Mimi and Keisha. These 2 women were so intentional and full of love for my grandfather, and it was such a blessing having them in our corner for such a difficult time in our family's life. Mimi and Keisha were such a bright light on some of the darkest days, and even came to my grandfather's funeral with Amanda. Something I never would have expected, but it truly spoke to their character. I cannot express my gratitude, love and appreciation for these incredible human beings. I feel as though they are apart of our own family now, and we are the lucky ones!! Thank you for all that you two, Amanda, and the team did for grandpa and our family. I am unable to articulate the impact you've left on our family.
