I have had the privilege of Referring to Sumter Terrace on several occasions, and love the Partnership that Southern Senior Living and Sumter Terrace have developed over the past 3 years! I can not say enough about Executive Director, Taylor Evans and her Amazing Team at Sumter Terrace, they go above and beyond for our Senior Living Residents, Families, and Referral Sources! Our mom has been at Sumter Terrace for a year now. We are so pleased with how quickly she adapted and the loving staff is to thank for that. She has dementia but every single team member takes the time to dote on her and make her feel special and included. We have an open line of communication with Taylor and Kayla and they’re always available to talk to us and will even take it upon themselves to call and let us know how she’s doing. God placed these wonderful people in our lives at a time we needed them the most. We trust them implicitly with her safety and her happiness.

I can't express enough how grateful I am for the exceptional care my dad receives. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place is not just a facility—it's a home. The staff is incredibly caring, helpful, and always goes above and beyond to make sure my dad feels comfortable and well taken care of. The environment is clean, warm, and inviting, which gives me peace of mind, especially since I live in a different state. One person who stands out is Ms. Taylor. She is truly a gem—loving, patient, and incredibly supportive. It’s obvious she has a genuine connection with my dad, and she treats him like family. Knowing that he’s surrounded by people who truly care about his well-being has made all the difference. I can rest easy knowing he’s in such capable, compassionate hands. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for the best care for their loved ones.

Such a friendly and welcoming staff when placing our mom there. Easy move in process and high level of care shown in all that they do for the residents. Wonderful activities for them to participate in daily along with exercise times. We are pleasantly pleased with moms stay thus far. Talk with Taylor, she was a godsend in helping us with every avenue of getting settled in.

I was very impressed with Brookdale Sumter when my dog and I visited for a National Dog Day Parade. The facility is beautiful! There was also a very noticeable, positive energy that emanated from both the staff and residents. I hope to visit here frequently with my therapy dog Toby!
