I am continually impressed by Brookdale's commitment to resident care, and the family-like atmosphere. All staff go above and beyond to make the residents feel at home, comfortable, and safe. I would highly recommend Brookdale to anyone seeking a home for their loved one, who needs additional care.

We had to move my Uncle from Arizona to an assisted living facility. My brother and I looked at 5 places. Brookdale became his home. We were greeted and introduced to the facility by Shannon. She really made us feel we made the right choice. Spent lots of time with us and was very accommodating. Everyone there is very sweet and watches out for your loved one. We are very happy with our decision so far, it's been 3 months 😊

Shannon, the social worker, is exceptional at ensuring the residents have everything they need to feel at home from the moment they arrive. The entire staff is incredibly caring, making this transition for my mother as smooth and comfortable as possible.

Our family's partnership with Brookdale in navigating our dad's progression with Alzheimer's has been as positive an experience as it could be. Dad feels content and safe. The staff feels almost like family. We would recommend this facility to any family , and Brookdale's recommendation of a particular hospice group has been a godsend. We all are comfortable here.

Making the decision to move mom from an independant living facility to a memory care unit was very hard. I checked with several places and Brookdale of Troy stood out for several reasons. First of all I had a recommendation from a friend who's mom was there several years ago. I also found out that a lot of the staff at Troy Brookdale have been there for many years. I felt that spoke volumes. I then set up a visit. Mike Crane from Troy Brookdale helped us out a lot. He set up a visit in which he introduced us to a lot of the staff and showed us around and helped in deciding which type of room would be best for mom. Everyone was very professional , friendly and caring. Mom is there now and doing well. The adjustment wasn't easy for mom or for me either but the staff at Brookdale has made it a great experience. They are so caring for their residents and for the families as well. They have made the transition as easy as it could be. I have to say that I was concerned about moving my 100 year old mother who is developing dementia but now that she's been there a short time I know it was the right move. I have to give a special thanks to Dorthy who is one of the care givers. She saw me one day and could tell that I was not having a good day. She took me aside and explained about dementia. It was a big help. And also Ruby who gave mom a manicure her first morning. The staff makes sure all the residents get to know one another so everyone feels comfortable. These are just some of the examples of how the staff is at Brookdale. Thanks Mike for helping us out. Coleman and Ann Kendall
