Out of all the retirement homes I've dealt with this is the ONLY ONE that wont tell family anything without some stupid list being met. I can't help but worry about my boyfriends grandma (who i love as my own grandma) even more! Especially since the only daughter i know of is my boyfriends overly obsessed and controlling mother who HATES me just because he loves me, yea like I'll be able to get on some freaking list!

Shelley is a great nurse and she helps all aides brookdale is a family to me

The place is a high turn over. I feel like noone cares there. The residents deserve more care. Staff seems to forget someone in need.

Coming to the realization that my mom needed a little more care than I could provide was difficult, to say the least! But, finding Brookdale has been the single best thing I could do for my mom. Not only are the staff and facility great (they treat her like gold), but my mom has new friends and has really become more upbeat and happy (I was told this would happen, but I was skeptical - not anymore). I don't live in the area, so having people that really care makes all the difference in the world.
