BROOKDALE WEATHERFORD

Unfortunately, my loved one passed before their placement could be seen through. The Director, Nurse, and majority of the staff we interacted with were phenomenal. The residents all were happy, the facility was the cleanest we had toured, and my loved one looked very forward to living there. From the little experience we had while visiting and touring, I'd absolutely recommend this facility.

About 3 months ago, we had to move our Dad into a place that still gave him a since of independence, but would keep a helpful eye on him. He has dementia and is a fall risk. We wanted a place that would love on him and welcome him in, just as he is. He is a smoker, so that made it hard finding a place. Brookdale said "YES" and welcomed him in like family. They recommended, and we do now too, that someone stay the night within him for at least the first 2-3 nights. We believe it really helped him feel more like he belonged since there was a family member spending the night with him. Since I was there overnight for three nights, I can absolutely attest that Brookdale, Weatherford TX has the BEST caregivers. It's been 3 months now and I still have yet to hear complaints or grumbling, evening in the middle of the night. I LOVE how they work together as a TEAM to get things done, great cross-training. The Administrator told me one time that she never wants her TEAM to leave a days work crying over "work," but that they do cry for other, more important reasons

Eleven years ago my brother and I found ourselves in a conundrum. Our mother was living in a retirement community in Southern California. She had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and could no longer live on her own. A Place for Mom was our savior. Before we knew it, we had appointments with nine assisted living communities in and around the Ft Worth area. Brookdale Weatherford (previously Sterling House) was the first facility we visited. From the moment we walked through the door we knew this was the place for her. Management and staff at Brookdale Weatherford is wonderful! They are so caring and attentive with our mother. They love her and she loves them. They are in constant communication with us so that we are aware at all times. She is now 95 years of age, well taken care of and very happy with her surroundings. We could not be happier with Brookdale Weatherford.

2.5 months now that my family moved my 83 year old Dad to Brookdale and we could not ask for a better transition, staff and experience. His needs are being met and his lifestyle is so much better. Very HAPPY.

Thanks to A Place for Mom, we obtained information about several assisted living facilities in the Weatherford , TX area. We visited some others and ended up choosing Brookdale. After 5 months in the facility we are pleased that we did. Both management and staff members are friendly, helpful, and skillful in their dealings with residents. The building is nice, the food is good and the atmosphere is pleasing. Thank you Brookdale Weatherford.
