My father has been a Brookdale resident for one year. He is happy with his room and the staff takes excellent care of him. He enjoys the companionship of the other residents.

My wife has been a resident in the memory care unit for three years now. The first several months were very difficult for me and her. However, the staff was very supportive, gave advice, and comfort. They assured me that what we were going through was normal. My wife is doing quite well now. I feel a lot has to do with the care she has gotten. They have encouraged me as well. I’ve been able to volunteer in the assisted living unit for several months now and have been accepted as part their team. This has really helped me through this difficult time. The residents are now part of my family. I have a special bond with the staff and residents . Sarah Vincenzo is a dedicated executive director. She’s been an inspiration to me.

The staff I’ve met at Brookdale are friendly, and most genuinely seem to care. The main spaces are clean and well-maintained. Like any assisted living facility, there is a high rate of staff turnover, but that is common in the industry. The housekeeping in my loved one's room could be improved, likely due to staffing challenges. However, I have been assured that this issue is being addressed. The director, Sarah, is responsive.
