BROOKSHIRE (THE)

What dump! I went to pick my mom’s belongings today. The place stunk, cockroaches, the cleaner said the room was clean (sticky stuff on the floor, a half eaten sandwich on a book, rancid milk on a bag… ect). Is this how we treat our elderly? Shame!

I have been working with Elder care and services for over 20 years. Then it was my turn with my loved one to find assistance and housing. Hands down - Hardest thing I have ever done emotionally. At The Brookshire Dana the Executive Director and Nancy the Admission Director were with me every step of the way. My Aunt has settled in her spacious room with a full walk in closet and bathroom. She feels at home and loves all of her caregivers. They give her the care and attention that I could not. The guilt consumed me until I saw how she was thriving, doing things on her own that she had not done in a while - she gets stronger each day. I love the entire team, as each one help take care of my Aunt. I would recommend The Brookshire and its team Always ! Thank you Brookshire for being part of my Aunt’s Journey.

The exceptional care I have witnessed my loved one receive at The Brookshire has been unmeasured. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were welcomed by a warm and friendly staff who truly care about the residents. The facility is beautifully maintained, with cozy common areas and lovely outdoor spaces that create a homely atmosphere. Five stars for Brookshire! My experience with this assisted living facility has been absolutely wonderful. From the moment I walked in, I felt a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are truly exceptional – kind, compassionate, and always ready to go the extra mile. They treat residents with dignity and respect, and I've seen firsthand how much they genuinely care. Beyond the amazing staff, the location of Brookshire is perfect. It's conveniently situated close to downtown Melbourne where there are shops, parks, and medical facilities which makes visits easy and provides residents with access to everything they need. I highly recommend Brookshire to anyone looking for a top-notch assisted living community.

The Brookshire is a beautiful place to call home with the utmost compassionate and highly competent team to entrust in safety, care, and quality of life. Experiencing the well-thought routine from day-to-day is one of a kind within extended-life health care. There are so many activities and options for all residents to take part in. From the in-depth, memory focused brain games full of fun to the resident nurtured vegetable and herb gardening, there's always something going on. The residents stay very active and enriched with purpose while maintaining their independence comfortably. The food is delicious and the options are always creative and nutritiously balanced. The memory care floor has been beautifully remodeled creating a calm and consistently active environment while maintaining safety and dignity. I would highly recommend The Brookshire for all-inclusive, extended care living.
