Brookside Farm is a truly amazing facility. My stepson, who suffered from schizophrenia, lived there for more than ten years. During that time he came to love his Brookside family who provided gentle structure, careful supervision, caring attention to his medication and all his physical needs. The staff there made him feel cared for, secure, important and visible. They took him on outings for lunch or to the movies as he was able, and he truly thrived there.
