Recently my great grandmother was admitted. So far everyone has been respectful and have been thorough in helping her make a full recovery. Both with rehab and physical therapy

To the Brookside Village Team, I recently completed a three-week rehabilitation stay at Brookside Village following a broken hip. Having worked at Brookside for several years as Director of the dietary food service team and acting director later on, it was meaningful to return—this time as a patient—and experience firsthand the exceptional care you provide. Working alongside Dan and Stephen in those early years was a privilege, and I remain grateful for their leadership and for the wonderful ownership behind the facility. The therapy I received during my stay prepared me well to return home safely and confidently with the assistance of a cane. I am truly thankful for the therapists’ dedication, encouragement, and professionalism. The nursing and aide staff also did an outstanding job, providing excellent care with kindness and consistency. I want to especially acknowledge the administrator and Dr. Hurst for their commitment to ensuring every patient is cared for properly, attentively, and with genuine compassion. I would also like to extend my thanks to Terry in maintenance and to the entire support staff. Their work in keeping the facility safe, clean, and home-like does not always receive the recognition it deserves, yet it makes an enormous difference in the comfort and well-being of every resident. Please know that those efforts are deeply appreciated. Finally, thank you to everyone who played a part in my recovery and helped ensure I could return home in a safe and timely manner. I would gladly recommend Brookside Village to any friends or family in need of rehabilitation services. Thank you again for all you do, and for the loving, life-changing care you provide to those who depend on you. Sincerely, Wes Baker

My Dad stayed for 2 weeks. Therapist was good. Food awful. My dad was left on a bed pan overnight. He wasn't cared for very well-and we took him home as soon as we could. Follow up- Brookside reached out to me after this posted. And they were not aware of the bedpan issue. They have reached out and let me know they are looking into the issues we experienced. I believe they were sincere.

My MIL was there for a month rehabbing from an injury and sepsis. She had to have multiple rounds of IV antibiotics and the staff was very professional, patient, and kind. The therapy team was amazing. When there was a mix up with her insurance the administrator and admissions were on top of it and quickly cleared everything up in a professional and timely manner. When we asked questions we were met with kind smiling faces, and never looked down upon because we didn’t know how all of this worked. Will definitely be recommending the care of brookside to others.

At first, it was good. My loved one got a private room while they waited for a surgery for over 2 months, did physical therapy, and rested. The day of surgery, no problems getting them there but while in surgery, the facility called the family, not to check on the patient, but to see if they were coming back. After they were trying to recover in the hospital while on a vent, the facility called again and proceeded to let us know how much it would cost (somewhere between $300-$400 per day privately)!! When my loved one returned ,(had to stay in the hospital for close to a week), they were moved from the private room to a 2 person room while being told they would hold the room for them! I can say the nurses and the doctor there were great, no problems there, but the administration needs to learn compassion and empathy, quit worrying about the money!
