Brookstone Alzheimer's Special Care Center

Brookstone and the people who work there are amazing, from management to all staff. My mother spent many years in their care toward the end of her life. When my mother was in pain and refused to take medication that she needed, I watch a nurse sit with her for 20 minutes stroking her hair and calming her so she would relax and she was then able to give my mother the medication she needed. Brookstone was always clean. The food was wonderful and they always brought treats, fresh baked cookies etc... to the residents. If mom wanted something else, they would bring her something else. They always had enough staff. Everyone treated my mother with respect and love. I was always informed of any changes in my mother's condition or her care. I could visit her any hour of the day. This place was wonderful and I have told my family if I ever need memory care...send me to Brookstone.

My mother was neglected there. They did not get her appropriate medical care when it Was necessary. I would not recommend this place.
