BUDA OAKS ASSISTED LIVING AND MEMORY CARE

I want to express my gratitude to the staff for caring for my husband before he got sick. While he was independent, you guys were awesome but when he got sick, the care that he needed was not there. I think it was due to the inexperience of the care staff. More education on s/s of UTI’s, in the elderly would have made a difference. Terry and I would like to thank Victoria who is the activities director. What an awesome job that it did to raise the spirits and challenge the residents especially during the 8 week walk through the Amazon. You offer a lot of activities for the residents and I want to thank you for strongly encouraging Terry to participate. Keep up the good work. This is for the front staff. Was always a pleasure to be welcomed by you. You are the first one a person sees when entering the AL. Thank you For the most part, I am glad that Terry lived there for a short while. I only hope that the caregivers get a little more experience in order to care for the wonderful residents To anyone who is looking for a place for their loved ones who is needing extra care and support. This place is wonderful. Buda Oaks offers a clean and nurturing environment. The staff are friendly and caring. The food is delicious and activities are engaging. The reason that I gave a 4 was due to a situation unique to my family member and was not something that a staff member did. I would return him there if he did not require more medical care that an Assisted Living provides.

My Mom loves Buda Oaks and so do we! After a lot of research and looking at the options, Buda Oaks was and remains the best fit. I love that the staff are all very personable, professional and care deeply about what they do to make Buda Oaks the best. I can’t imagine my Mom being happy anywhere else and that makes us happy! Editing to add that the Activities Director is hands down the best there is. She coordinates some very cool outings as well as activities within the facility. From KY Derby to Hays HS Mariachi Band performances to making concha’s to a field trip to Bastrop all within the last couple of weeks-my Mom does more than I do! Buda Oaks is a solid 5 ⭐️

Buda Oaks has been an absolute blessing for my family. After my father suffered a stroke and developed aphasia, we were faced with the overwhelming task of finding the right assisted living facility. From the very start, Crista was incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive, guiding us through every step with patience and compassion. The entire staff at Buda Oaks is truly wonderful—warm, caring, and dedicated to their residents' well-being. It’s clear that the residents here are happy, and the atmosphere is one of comfort and community. What could have been an incredibly stressful transition was made smooth and full of genuine care. I have complete confidence that my father will not only receive the support he needs but also thrive in this nurturing environment. If you are looking for a place where your loved one will be treated with dignity, respect, and heartfelt kindness, Buda Oaks is the place to go. We attended a Veterans Day celebration where our daughter was performing for the residents at Buda Oaks. The staff was very professional and friendly. All residents were well cared for and happy. A good time was had by all. Highly recommend.

I moved my parents to another assisted living facility in Buda in March. We were not impressed. A month later we moved them to Buda Oaks. Crista is a wonderful person to work with. She cares about people and her job. She went above and beyond to help me get my mom a Covid shot and get both my parents cleared for TB before we could move them in. The other facility never asked about either of these things which made me wonder what else they were overlooking. The facility itself is very pretty and well maintained. My parents laundry is done privately and almost daily. They get a choice of what they want to eat at every meal. They both say the food is very good. The only complaint I have so far is communication between their hospice nurse and the nursing staff at Buda Oaks is sometimes not great. However, the staff I have interacted with are mostly friendly and seem to know what they are doing. I will say staffing on the weekends does seem to be minimal as well. Overall, I'm happy with the quality of care my parents have gotten so far.
