Environment is super clean and good air circulation. All the staffs are friendly and welcoming . They have a valet service too. I feel very comfortable to leaving my family in here.

My mother has been in Buena Park Nursing Center for a while. She has been taken care of well by the staff there. I am quite relieved and am thankful for their professionalism and sincere support towards the patients. I strongly recommend this place to others who need to provide nursing and rehabilitation for their loved ones. Thanks again to the staff of BPNC.

I visited this facility to see sister in law today. She has had a difficult eating, so she lost almost 40 to 50 lbs for few months. She has no sibling for her life. Today I pushed the red button to call a staff to a warm water as patient request by the her bed. Several times, no one of staff responds at all. It seems ignorant to the patient. If she is one of their family, they have to respond the request rightway. They work here for the patient.

I tried calling this Nursing Home a few times, and every.time- they would pick up then drop the call IMMEDIATELY. I tried it so many times, and it’s really like that. I tried calling again today, and the same thing happened, they would pick up then drop the phone immediately. Why is that? I hope someone else could pick it up, so I can report.

My father was sent here by his case worker 5 days after having a stroke. The place smelled bad, looked like a 3rd world clinic, and was 95% elderly patients. We did not want to leave him alone here and were allowed to stay almost the first 2 days but then we were met with the ridiculous 45 minute only one at a time visiting period policy. We spoke to the director, administrators, and doctor expressing great discomfort about leaving him there alone to no avail. The next day when we get there his bed is all the way up with the remote on the ground, even though he was a fall risk, and his blood sugar is high because they had neglected to give him water and gave him food that was bad for his kidney failure. We finally get a room at a better facility and 30 seconds after we arrive the staff there diagnose him with pneumonia and he is rushed back to the hospital. This is absolutely neglectful and this facility deserves to be shut down. I don’t know who created the 45 minute policy but it is criminal to keep a family away from their loved one like this. He is not some old guy roaming about the halls. He is a stroke victim with diabetes, stage 4 cancer, and kidney failure. The care they provided and their unwillingness to let us take care of him disgusts me. I do not recommend ANYONE come here if you actually care about your love one’s well being and safety.
