From our initial contact with Gracie to working with Norma and her staff, the experience for my family and our loved one at Gemstone has been exceptional. The entire staff provides care that is consistent, comforting, and most of all...caring. The staff really does care for the health and well-being of their residents. Thanks again for making our experience with Gemstone Senior Living at Bulverde such a positive experience.

The staff and management have been helpful and accommodating. The in-house services and on-site visiting practitioners are convenient and make caring for our mother, pleasant and relatively carefree. We'd definitely recommend BALI to anyone who wants a superior living experience for their loved ones in need of assistance and a warm friendly community of friends and staff.

If I could give less stars, I would. I urge anyone who has family in this facility or is considering putting a lived one in here….RUN, don’t walk in the opposite direction. The management is degraded by the intense nepotistic manner in how they do business. The staff, well the good ones are gone, the remaining don’t speak English and have no papers. They fire and destroy the lives of genuine and caring employees to make more room for the girls from the “Agency”. However, theses people lack having any agency of their own. They are greed driven people who care only for the bottom line, and caring for your loved ones is barely a priority. They chastise and are neglectful to staff and residents. Please take your family members out of this place.

We were there for about 9 months. We left due to language barriers with staff which I felt was a safety issue. It was also expensive. A great deal of turnover with staff. Pop in unexpected. Pay attention to meds. The owner did listen to my concerns, however, we chose to move on as the best option for us.

Beautiful views of the hill country on a site with majestic oaks. The facility is warm and welcoming and the residents love calling it home. Exceptional staff, caring from the heart. If you are looking for a loved one make sure and stop by for a tour. Culinary team knows that good care just isn't the physical type it involves smells and taste.
