Truly a community atmosphere. Genuinely caring among all in Chevy Chase House. The security is excellent with love too. Truly a home for Mom …. AND her circle. God bless you is evident.

Mary spent a ton of time with us today touring the facility. We were impressed with the activities, the flexibilities, and the warm of the staff. We will be considering this for our parents in the near future.

If you are perfectly physically and cognitively intact, but just don’t want to make meals anymore (and don’t care if the meals are subpar) then this is the place for YOU! Administration is very nice but incompetent (you will need your cognitive skills to navigate), nursing is odd and inconsistent, but since you are physically ok and don’t take any medications, this will not be a problem. Common areas are well appointed, you can do your own laundry (which you will have to) and the lobby, movie room are very nice. So, if you have, at least, $10,000 a month that you would like to donate to a residential senior living facility for a one bedroom living space, this truly is the place for you. If you fall outside these very strict parameters (as so many of us clearly do), do not consider Chevy Chase House for your needs, they will not be met.

Chevy Chase House has been an unexpected but intensely needed gift for our family. After my mom’s death and my dad’s relocation from Florida to DC this summer, we were all gutted emotionally and just spiraling downwards. The staff and residents at Chevy Chase House caught us in our descent, embraced us literally and figuratively, facilitated selection of the BEST local ALF, and have been absolutely nurturing and supportive in the most unexpected ways during my dad’s recent move in. It’s only been 1.5 weeks, but we feel rescued. Thank you, thank you so sincerely!

I always love coming to visit friends at Chevy Chase House. All the people and staff are so inviting and friendly. The food is always five star quality.
