Byron Manor #5

We moved my mom into Byron Manor and could immediately tell that the staff was compassionate and caring. One time a staff member was so empathetic that she cried in the hallway with me. One of the staff members told me that she does her job with all her heart, and you can tell! She was always so kind and caring. If I ever had a concern or question, the staff would do their best to help. They would often comment, “Well, you are family, so we will try our best to make it happen.” Sara, the director of assisted living, is so good at her job! She cares for each resident and is intentional about getting to know each one. She leads with excellence and the staff respects her. My mom thought so highly of Sara. She always welcomed me into her office and made time to talk to me. The activities director and her assistant were also both top notch. They always stopped in my mom’s room with a smile. They were interested in what she had to say. They invited her to participate in the activities and she felt so welcomed. My mom went into hospice care at Byron Manor and we felt so supported and cared for. Sara and staff members would stop in after their shifts were over to check on us. I am thankful for each person there.

My mother spent time in both independent living and memory care at Byron Manor. I can’t say enough good about this facility. The love and care to not only my mom but myself was astounding! Mom always had someone checking in on her in the memory care. They hugged her and loved on her. They cleaned up after her and laughed with her. Not one staff that I met was unpleasant or unloving. Brian was always available for me for questions and went to see my mom on more the several occasions. He brought her cooked carrots when she was having a tough day because he knew she loved them! I felt she was always safe and I was free to be absent when needed. She has since passed and the tears hugs and love that is being shown to me only solidified that this was where she was meant to be. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a family oriented place filled with love for their loved ones! Thank you so much to all the staff at Byron Manor!

We were so fortunate to find the perfect independent living apartment for our Mom at Byron Manor. She was apprehensive of course, but quickly acclimated due to the amazing staff and residents. She feels right at home after only one week of being there. We cannot say enough about how kind and helpful everyone is. Would highly recommend!

Originally built by family, for family with intentional design from apartments, dining and living spaces, extending to garden areas. This staple of our small community, is now operated by a company offering quality care, a culture of safety, and a spirit of togetherness. The leadership team on campus genuinely care for the families served as well as the staff and it shows. Offering a wide range of care from independent to memory support and end of journey- Byron Manor continues to shine.

I love that Bryan Cramer, the Executive Director at Care Cardinal Byron Center, is always approachable and willing to answer any questions we may have! His openness and accessibility make a significant difference in ensuring that families feel comfortable and well-informed. Bryan’s dedication to providing excellent service is evident in his willingness to take the time to address our concerns thoroughly and thoughtfully. It’s truly reassuring to know that we can always count on his support and guidance.
