I was trying to get my aunt into Cabot Cove of Largo and was on a time crunch because her Medicare benefits at the rehab facility were running out and no one would return my call. I had left messages with the admissions director by phone and went in person to speak with her and she stated that the person who was going to do the evaluation on my aunt would get in touch with me. I know they are busy but no return call after 3 days is unacceptable in my opinion. Needless to say, I called and found somewhere else. Thank you for the response, but I spoke with the admissions director and even stopped by for a tour and she stated that the person who does the evaluation would give me a call. She did call me on Monday but I had already found a place for my aunt. Cabot Cove is a nice facility and when I took the tour, it was understandably rushed because I did stop by without an appointment, as I was on a time crunch. Maybe the fact that you don't have a record of me calling is part of the problem. Again, thank you for responding.

My husband was a resident of Cabot Cove. Not only is it a clean, well maintained and pleasant environment the people are great. The staff members are caring and attentive. I never worried about the safety of my husband knowing that he was surrounded with staff who were supportive and professional.

As the owner of the placement company Senior Home Transitions, I consider Cabot Cove is one of my favorite medium sized Assisted Living Communities in all of Pinellas County. It is the welcoming, homey place for your loved one who is having trouble cooking, taking their meds, walking or transferring safely and has no real socialization. The place is nicely decorated, clean, isn't too big and won't overwhelm your loved one. They have a fun activities department with a great variety of activities for everyone. The best characteristic is the caring, stable, longtime staff from the executive director to the care aids. Everyone there makes your loved one their top priority. I can't recommend this community any higher. I have worked with dozens of families to move their loved one into Cabot Cove.

I live here and love the people who are in charge! 3 delicious meals a day, plenty of fun activitys to do. Wonderful live entertainment several times a month and also we go on excursions to different restaurants in the area as well as other local places. Our Activity's Director, Debbie is fantastic! Also our facility is spotless! You must come and see for yourself.!

My mother has been with the Cabot Cove Community for 6 months now. The Cabot Cove staff, as well as the residents, are so caring and thoughtful of each other. I was also impressed with the cleanliness of the community, the apartment like style of the rooms, and the wonderful freshly made-from-scratch food that is served in the dining room. The Executive Director has such a gift for her position. She knows each resident by name, remembers their background and their individual needs. She is on top of all of the office duties as well as taking time to visit residents that are in the hospital or rehabilitation. The head nurse is also very gifted in organizational skills with her staff as well as running a tight ship, making sure every resident is well cared for and feels loved. As a family member of a resident, I feel heard and acknowledged with every conversation. I am grateful Cabot Cove of Largo had an opening when my mother needed more care than we could give her at home.
