There are many good things to say about this facility. The staff is friendly and attentive. They go above and beyond to make sure clients are happy and supported. The activities are fun and creative and it is homey and welcoming. I would definitely recommend Cadence at Garner.

Cadence Garner Assisted Living is truly a wonderful community. From the moment you walk in, it feels warm, welcoming, and genuinely inviting. The atmosphere doesn’t feel institutional at all — it truly feels like home. Shanda has done an incredible job creating an environment where residents feel comfortable, cared for, and valued. You can see her heart in the details and in the way the community operates day to day. It’s clear that making this a true “home” for residents is a priority, not just a slogan. Jacki has also been amazing throughout the admissions process. She is organized, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful in getting everything set up smoothly. She takes the time to answer questions and makes what could be an overwhelming process feel easy and reassuring. If you are looking for an assisted living community that feels welcoming, supportive, and professionally run, Cadence Garner is an excellent choice. Highly recommend!

Cadence at Garner is a beautiful community with a vibrant group of residents and staff. There is ALWAYS something fun happening and the food is stellar. I highly recommend this community for anyone looking at senior living for themselves or loved ones!

Five years ago, during the height of the pandemic, I had to quickly find a place for Mom. She had suffered a stroke and bad fall breaking both of her arms at her home in SC but I had her transferred to Cary Health and Rehab to convalesce. After several weeks, their team determined that she required assisted living as she was diagnosed with dementia. After SEVERAL virtual tours (in person wasn’t permitted), we came across Cadence of Garner. It checked all the boxes-close to home, incredibly clean and reasonably priced (they’re all $$$). We couldn’t see her room the first seven months and had to visit through her window or with an appointment in the lobby, but we made the most of it. Once the lockdown was lifted, Mom thoroughly enjoyed the next 1&1/2 years of her life and absolutely LOVED the activities, especially the music and pet therapy. It’s always incredibly difficult to put a loved one in a facility, but rest assured Cadence is ridiculously clean, the food is delicious (she’d tell me every day) and most importantly, it’s secure.
