My mother in law has been a resident here for almost 3 years and I can say she has been taken care of by many loving and kind people. The facility is inviting and well kept. I would recommend it.

Cadence at Millbrae truly feels like home. The staff are very welcoming and friendly—you feel it the moment you walk in. There are always fun and engaging activities that keep residents active, social, and happy. A special shoutout to Angie, the Resident Lifestyle Director, who is incredibly warm, welcoming, and passionate about what she does. You can really feel how much she cares about the residents and the community. The bistro is great, and the dining room offers a wide variety of delicious food options, something for everyone and always well-prepared. The piano lounge adds a relaxing and elegant touch, and there’s also a theater and a mini gym, making everything so convenient. Honestly, what else can I ask for? Everything you need is right here in Cadence Millbrae. Plus, being a pet-friendly community is a must and a huge bonus. Highly recommended!

My 89 year old mother recently moved in and so far, its great and she is thriving! When I arrived for a tour and was waiting I was pointed to the coffee/espresso/cappuccino machine in the lobby and told to help myself. I never got a chance because the residents kept coming to use this. Each with a smile on their face. I wasn't going to try get before one of them. This level of active resident was just what my mom was going to need. The management staff and the rest of the staff are wonderful. Everyone seems to know all the residents and there are always smiles exchanged. There are higher end assisted living facilities in the Bay Area but in its price range, Cadence was far and above all else I looked at in terms of bright and sunny, well kept, well staffed. At higher end facilities there may be trips to museums and shows in San Francisco vs. shopping and parks--but those facilities probably also have different populations. The Cadence seems just right for their residents. Thanks to Bari, Amy, Natalie, and the rest of the staff. Thanks for making my mom's first few weeks so wonderful.
